The importance of the study of colorimetry for the performance of permanent hair coloring procedures

Abstract

The coloring process is one of the procedures that allows the color change of the threads, a procedure widely used by beauty professionals. Through advanced knowledge about the anatomy of the threads and mechanisms of action of coloring in all parts of the threads, from the cortex, cuticles and color study. This knowledge brings the professional more security to perform the procedure and bring the minimum damage to the wires. This article is an exploratory descriptive bibliographic review, aiming to analyze the importance of scientific knowledge for performing hair coloring procedures.
